Test every spirit

To that I say- this is why Christians in America are so confused on what is biblical and what is not, and there seems to be this perpetual watered-down version of salvation that circulates. There is no understanding of testing what is true versus what is counterfeit.

There are “Christians” who are walking around in bondage and don’t even know it…

They are “manifesting things…”

They are “burning sage” in their homes…

They are using crystals for healing…

They are consuming every “godly sounding sound bite” on social media as though it is biblical truth…

They are walking around, claiming a different gender identity…

All while professing Christ.

No one is testing anything anymore! If it gives “good results” and “sounds godly” it must be of God right? Wrong. Pharaoh’s magicians even performed what Moses did. The stark difference is that they were enabled to do so by a counterfeit spirit- NOT the Holy Spirit. Today’s Christians would not be able to tell Moses from the magicians…

Every believer is called to test all things- no matter how “godly” it may seem or sound. THAT is biblical.

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God…” 1 John 4:1

So- no, Isaiah Saldivar- Those who questioned this “revival in Asbury” are not the ones who should be questioned, in regards to salvation. We are simply obeying the living Word of God.

Test every spirit!

“So that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.”

Ephesians 4:14

What America needs is to know God’s Word. Read God’s Word and obey God’s Word.
