Don’t take a bite of the fruit…

“…she took the fruit and ate it…”

Genesis 3:6

Sharp words are about to come out?

…don’t take a bite of the fruit.

Everything in you wants to have the final say and “win” the argument?

…don’t take a bite of the fruit.

You feel taken for granted and you so desperately want him to know what it’s like to go without your help in the home?

…don’t take a bite of the fruit.

You are exhausted and up late cleaning, while he sleeps soundly…you’re starting to feel resentment build?

…don’t take a bite of the fruit.

From the very start of creation, temptation to sin, has been there. It’s the part of us that we have to daily lay down and surrender to Christ. DAILY surrender your flesh to Him.

It’s sooo easy, to let one negative thought, ripple into another and another and before you know it, you’ve “bitten the fruit” and stepped into sin. And with your own hands, you bring down your home.

“The wisest of women builds her house, but folly with her own hands tears it down.” Proverbs 14:1

The moment you have a thought contrary to what God says we SHOULD think- take that thought captive. Submit it to the Lordship of Jesus. Ask Him to renew your mind.

When the foothold of the enemy enters, via those thoughts- reject him and speak truth to the lie whispered in your ear. Speak the Word of God out loud.

Take in front, and…Do not bite the fruit.

“For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.”

2 Corinthians 10:3-6

…It’s just not worth it. Talking from experience here
