Sister in Christ- your work at home is Kingdom work

You can find me in my home- being a set apart from today’s society...

Finding joy in serving my husband and raising our children- Teaching them about God’s holiness and the standards He sets for us. Teaching them the right way versus the wrong (contrary to what society says- there is a right way and a wrong one. It doesn’t change based on what you “feel”). Our standard in this house is the Word of God and it will always be the Word of God.

I’ll just be here…surrendering my flesh and sinful nature, at the foot of the cross, daily. In pursuit of sanctification not self.

I’ll just be here seeking the Lord as I ask His Holy Spirit to fill this home, more than the “things” we are told to fill it with.

I’ll just be here, living in obedience to His Word and what He asks of me…perusing HIS dream for my life, not my own.

I’ll just be here, living out covenantal love with my husband…asking God daily, how I can help him, and serve him, all by HIS grace.

It’s not always easy, and that’s ok. Because I rely of the sufficiency of Christ and the guidance of His Holy Spirit, to do what is necessary each day. I will gladly live in rejection of the world if it means the one true King is being glorified and honored with my life. This world is not my home…I’m merely passing through. We all are. Keep your mind on things above, not on the things of this earth which WILL pass away.

Stand boldly in opposition to the world, for His Kingdom! You are armed with the Word of God- it’s the biggest advantage you could ever possibly have. Use it. Read it. LIVE in it.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

John 14:6

As we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:18

For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Romans 8:6-8

By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

Proverbs 24:3-4

Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.

John 17:17

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Phillipians 1:6
